A nominee director is appointed by a foreign company to meet the legal requirement that a company must have at least one resident director.  This director acts as a local representative, fulfilling legal obligations without being actively involved in the company's day-to-day management.

A company secretary must be a natural person who is locally resident in Singapore.  *Please note the sole director of a company and the company secretary cannot be the same person.
